Welcome to the Sunshine Coast Fresh Breath Clinic and congratulations on gathering the courage to schedule an appointment. For most people, this is a very difficult first but critical step. It can be an embarrassing and very personal problem, plaguing their lives for many years. Rest assured your days of bad breath, and all the efforts masking it, are over.

Bad breath, or halitosis, can be caused by a number of sources in your body and in order to remove the odour and bad taste you are suffering from we need to first find the cause. This is done by using Gas Chromatography technology. During your consultation, your breath will be analysed and the cause of your bad breath determined. Our Breath Analysis Consultant will offer recommendations to treat the cause and offer solutions to maintain a fresh and pleasant breath all day long.

Our consultations are $150.00 with the opportunity to claim back from your private health insurance. Patients who have received treatment for their bad breath have regained confidence and are no longer avoiding close encounters at work and socially.  Your appointment will run for 30 minutes.


There are three instructions to follow in order to prepare for your appointment.

  1. Do not eat, smoke, or drink (including water) 2 hours prior to your appointment.
  2. Do not brush your teeth, or chew gum/mints 2 hours prior to arrival. If using K-force products from Breezecare, do not use the mouth rinse 24 hours prior to arrival.
  3. Complete the Lifestyle Questionnaire prior to your arrival to ensure you provide accurate details of your history and concerns.

It is imperative that these instructions be followed to ensure we gain accurate results from your tests and offer you the correct recommendations to treat your condition effectively.

Our clinic operates out of Avenue Dental Kawana’s consultation room.

As you enter the reception area please inform the front office team of your arrival to meet with the Breath Consultant.
